One of the problems that graveyard shift people encounter is the lack of a decent restaurant to eat at in the wee hours of the morning. Most of the time, they settle for convenience stores which provides packaged and preserved food just to put something on their tummies. It’s a good thing that nowadays a lot of 24-hour restaurants are being opened to serve the night owls.
Last week, we tried out this newly opened 24-hour eatery in Tomas Morato – Pares Retiro: The Best Pares in Town.
Location: 205 Tomas Morato Ave, Diliman, Quezon City

Here’s what we ordered:
Big Baby Meal 1: Pares with Chopsuey
Big Baby Meal 3: Pares with Shanghai
Big Baby Meal 6: Pares with Sisig
Pares Lugaw with Tokwa’t Baboy
Batang Kamuning/graveyard shift peeps.

PRICE – ★★ (2/5)
I think this restaurant needs a lot of improvement coz their service is really bad.
Only one cashier was available that night. We cued for more than 30 minutes and when we arrived at the counter, we noticed that the cashier was really sleepy and moved so slow. She was the reason why the cue almost reached the door of the resto.
After ordering, at around 12:53AM, we again waited for another 25 minutes. We already asked for a follow up twice, and when we are about to really, really get pissed, the order came.
I also noticed that they have only one waiter who serves the food and cleans the table.
The price is not worthy of the quality and taste of the food. We got really disappointed.
