It was only after college when I started being vain– buying whitening soaps and lotions, learning to apply cosmetics, and using other essential skin care products to enhance not just my appearance but my self-confidence as well.
Thanks to those realiable bloggers for giving honest reviews about different products that caught my interest. Because of them, entering the world of beauty became easy for me and I even started to have my own skin care routine (hindi lang po halata)! 😛
Out of all the bloggers that I’ve been following, I’ve already met 5 and one of them is Ms. Gretchen Gatan of Greta’s Junkyard.
I’ve started reading Greta’s Junkyard two years ago and since then, I have been checking out her blog consistently for daily updates about beauty and lifestyle.
This year is her 4th blog anniversary and fortunately, my sister and I were lucky enough to join her event at the Manos Nail Lounge – BGC last September 24.
A pampering soiree was given to 25 readers as a way of showing her appreciation for all the support that she received since day 1.
Aside from the manicure session, she also served sweet snacks and drinks!
And most especially, she gave us a customized pouch with a lot of skin care and make up products inside!
I wasn’t able to mingle much (mahiyain kuno po), but Ms. Gretch was a really nice and sweet person. She is so classy! Meeting her in person made me admire her more.
